Hi, I’m Emily Darcy — the founder of The Intentional Learners Co. and a mum of two who’s passionate about making learning meaningful, flexible, and stress-free for families.

After more than 20 years working in education, I saw firsthand how traditional teaching methods don’t always serve every child. Worksheets, rigid programs, and one-size-fits-all approaches often left children disengaged, parents overwhelmed, and teachers stretched thin.

At home, as a mum, I felt the same. I wanted learning to feel natural and joyful and something that flowed through our everyday lives, not something forced or boxed in. That’s when I began creating resources that weave education into daily experiences, from cooking and gardening to exploring nature and having family conversations.

That’s how The Intentional Learners Co. was born: to support families who want their children’s education to be hands-on, adaptable, and truly aligned to real life.
